Summits & Conferences
Over the past three years, over 140 migrant and refugee leaders from across Europe attended the Democracy Summits in Hamburg (2017), Dublin (2018) and Athens (2019), and spoke at the annual US National Immigrant Integration Conference (NIIC) in Nashville (2016), Phoenix (2017) and DC (2018).
Policymaking
Our leaders have run for political office in Greece, Poland and Ireland.
Alumni
Our alumni have received recognition and funding as expert speakers and strategic partners by major European actors, such as the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the European Programme on Integration and Migration (EPIM).
Voting campaigns
Our partners piloted new campaigns informing migrants to vote and run in local elections in all TMDD countries. Leaders have joined campaigns, such as the 2019 European elections campaign, VoteEuropa, coordinated by MPG, reaching 43 million voters.
Integration bill (US)
Our US partners used practices they learned from Europe to develop the first broad integration bill in the US Congress.
Strategy sharing
Our European and US leaders continue to exchange their latest strategies, such as their COVID19 responses and their links with the Black Lives Matter movement.
Continued achievements
Despite these exceptional times, our partners are making major achievements in their respective countries (on COVID19 impacts in Greece, on asylum reform in Ireland and on Paycheck Protection Program in the US).
